Our wine cellar and wine shop is situated in the heart of the charming medioeval town of Camaiore on the west coast of Tuscany. For more than fifty years, people come here to taste and buy excellent and cheap Tuscan wines. After the second world war, Giulio the grandfather, was used to go round the province of Siena and Florence to buy from the farmers some casks of good wine for himself and few friends. Then his son Romeo had a brillant idea: he restored the old nunnery which was part of the house keeping the antique structure and began to sell wine for the hotels and restaurants situated on the close coast, Versilia. Today Romeo's son, Giuseppe goes on with his grandfather's job in that historic cellar where the charm of tradition and modern technology are perfectly joined. At the Cantinedel Sole, thanks to many years of experience and respectability, we personally select the best wines of Tuscany, store and bottle them. We also offers a wide range in wines among the best Italian and foreign names and give the possibility to taste wines and extra-virgin olive oil from the Camaiorese territory and tasting of local products.
