Origin:
100% Dolcetto grapes, grown in the old “Varei” vineyard which is situated on Bricco di Neive hill, near the Winery, in calcareous clay soils which enjoy south-westerly exposure.
Yield:
60 hl/hectare.
Vinification:
Fermentation and maceration at 28°C in stainless steel tanks for 7/8 days.
Maturing:
short period in steel and 3 to 6 months in the bottle.
Organoleptic Examination.
Serving Temperature: 18° C.
Colour: ruby red with violet hues characteristic to this grape variety.
Perfume: pleasant and characteristic vinous aroma.
Flavour: dry, harmonious and pleasantly bitterish.
Serving Suggestions: it accompanies the classic flavours of Langa cuisine, tasty soups, cheese boards and salami.
